Q: What is Tiny Paws?
If you have a dog that is under 10 lbs, it can be difficult to find a play group that is suitable. Tiny Paws classes offer an environment where the dogs are of similar size and weight so the chances of harmful accidents are minimized.  Training a small dog can be a challenge due to the difference in size between dog and handler.  We will demonstrate methods for ease of trianing with these little ones. We at Pack Rules Inc believe every dog should have the opportunity to exercise their brain and their body, just like the big guys so we will introduce agility equipment suitable to their size.
Q: What is Proofing?
A: Proofing classes offer an environment condusive to the 'proofing' of commands. Many people are able to get their dog to sit, down, come when they are at home or in the back yard but take them out in public with a world of distractions and it's as if the dog never learned a thing.  With proofing, we expose the dog to many distraction on purpose. This gives us the oppotunity to correct the dog when he/she breaks the command. With consistancy and well timed reminders to the dog, we produce a dog that will hold a command until the owner give the release command. This is a dog that is welcome nearly everywhere and a joy to the everyone he meets.

Individuals in the show/competition world will often refer to this process as polishing. However, 'Polishing' is a process by which every minute detail is perfected: position of dog's feet, body, head, ears, eyes, etc.  The body position and calls of the handler is also perfected.  In our 'proofing' class, we enforce the commands but do not pay as close attention to the body position of handler or dog. If you are interested in showing or competing with your dog, I am able to suggest trainers that specialize in that discipline.
Q: What is Therapy Readiness?
If you are interested in certifying your dog as a therapy dog...where do you train?...where do  you practice?  We provide the preparation training, equipment as well as the opportunity to visit suitable locals with authorization in which your pet can practice the training he has received.  We will be arranging group visits to these locals and the trainer will be joining the group to ensure training continues. Basic obedience is required for dogs enrolling in this class.
